Wine has been a passion for Roger since the early 1980’s. When the opportunity came to join the B.C. wine industry in 1995 Roger totally immersed himself in all aspects of grape growing and winemaking. Training as a VQA judge along with chemistry, viticulture and wine appreciation supplemented his practical winemaking experience and extensive wine touring.
Roger brought his passion to Gray Monk in 2005 to help develop the sparkling wine program and to build on the existing red wine portfolio.
