Our Experience team has developed a variety of ways to enjoy wine tastings this year.  We will be featuring both stand-up and seated tastings to help you find the right Gray Monk wines to fill your cellar.  All of our experiences are kid friendly, at the time of booking please include if you are bringing a child(ren) and state their age.

Sparkle + Savour Experience:
We’ve carefully curated a flight of five exceptional wines, including two still varietals used in producing sparkling wines globally and three sparkling selections from our Odyssey series. Each sparkling glass is matched with a fun chip pairing so you discover how bubbles can work magic with casual snacks.

Tasting Trio Experience:
Experience our premium food and wine pairing adventure in the exclusive setting of our private Estate Room overlooking the lake and vineyard. Our knowledgeable wine educators will be your guides, leading you through a journey of discovery. Throughout this educational and social tasting experience, your wine educator will present three featured wines, each expertly paired with three delectable canapés. For the first two pairings, you will choose your preferred wine, while we take the reins and select the ideal wine to conclude this perfect tasting experience.

The Gray Monk Estate Tour:
Join us on our historic site at Gray Monk Winery, one of the first five in BC with the original planting of Pinot Gris in the Valley. Stroll through the vineyard and learn about our history and viticulture practices. Taste along the way as we share a peak into the cellar discussing winemaking techniques and philosophies. A secret stop with a food pairing is a fantastic surprise and finishing our tour with a seated tasting in our tasting room or on the patio.

SEATED TASTINGS WITH A VIEW:

Taste of the Estate:
Enjoy a seated tasting experience which includes 5 wines from our renowned Estate series. Learn about the history of our winery while sipping and enjoying a panoramic view of the vineyard and Okanagan Lake. Tasting fees are $20 per person, non-refundable, $10 credit towards two or more wine bottle purchases. Monk’s Cellar Club members receive a 15% discount on tasting fees and add-ons.

Our Odyssey:
Enjoy a seated tasting experience overlooking the Gray Monk Estate vines and beautiful Lake Okanagan. You will enjoy 5 premium wines from our Odyssey collection, curated to highlight our sparkling and red wines. Tasting fees are $30 per person, non-refundable, $10 credit towards two or more wine bottle purchases. Monk’s Cellar Club members receive a 15% discount on tasting fees and add-ons.

Walk-In Tastings:

Wineshop Stand-up Tastings:  This is a great option for guests looking to pop in to get familiar with our wines, or to simply taste fresh vintages.  This style of tasting is first come first serve and takes 10-15 minutes.  Our team of tasting associates will ensure you have a socially distant experience while you taste and shop.  Stand up tastings are $10 non-refundable.
